流蘇貝母蘭(Coelogyne fimbriata)屬附生蘭，全株最長約18厘米，葉對生，稍微彎曲，呈長橢圓及披針形；萼片黃色，花瓣白色或淡黃色；唇黃色或綠黃色，帶有棕色斑紋。流蘇貝母蘭花期為八月下旬至翌年一月。一般可生長於岩石石壁或大石側面的狹縫和林地。本物種已知一些亞種群已經滅絕，估計因森林砍伐和溪流渠道化所致。現時於本地暫被列為無危物種。

 

Brown rock- orchid; yellow rock-orchid (Coelogyne fimbriata) is an epiphytic orchid, with a longest length up to 18 cm. The 2 leaves,opposite , slightly curved, and oblong oval-lanceolate shaped. Sepals are yellow, petals are white to light yellow, lips are yellow to greenish-yellow, with brown markings. Coelogyne fimbriata flowering from late August to January of the next year. Generally, it can grow on the slits of rock walls or sides of rocks and woodland. Some subpopulations of this species are known to have become extinct, probably due to deforestation and channelization of streams. And it is currently classified as IUCN, a least concern (LC) species in Hong Kong.
