小舌唇蘭(Platanthera minor)屬地生蘭，20－40厘米高，基部長出葉，呈線狀披針形，可有15厘米長。花為淡黃色至黃綠色，唇瓣披針形，稍向內彎曲。小舌唇蘭花期為三月至五月。一般可生長於潮濕岩石縫隙中，或沿著小徑的草叢生長而形成大族群，有時在開闊的草坡上均可發現。小舌唇蘭於中國和東南亞地區均有分佈。生長在草坡容易受斜坡工作及修草所影響。現時於本地暫被列為無危物種。

Lesser platanthera (Platanthera minor) is a terrestrial orchid, 20-40cm tall, basal leaf linear-lanceolate up to 15cm long. Flowers are in yellowish-green or ivory-green, lips are lanceolate or ovate-lanceolate, slightly curved inward at the apex. Platanthera minor flowering from March to May. It can be found on moist rock or along the hiking path. Sometimes we can also find it in open grassy mountain slopes. Platanthera minor widespread in China and southeast Asia. The populations growing along footpaths or slopes are easily affected by slope works and grass cutting. However, it is still classified as a Least concern（LC）species in Hong Kong.
