願景及使命 VISION & MISSION

本計劃為香港大學環境管理理學碩士課程研究項目。在香港蘭花物種可算是十分豐富，但超過一半的物種都屬於瀕危和極危。而且本地的蘭花保育工作更要面對種種不同的困難，包括非法野外採摘、生境遭受破壞等問題。

 

對於蘭花保育，教育及認識更是不可或缺，我們希望以網上平台形式以蘭花保育為主題，讓大家認識本地野生蘭花物種和蘭花保育工作之餘，更希望藉此宣揚保護野生蘭花的訊息。

This project is a research project of the Master of Science in Environmental Management of The University of Hong Kong. Orchids are extraordinarily rich in Hong Kong. However, more than half of the species are either endangered or critically endangered. Local orchid conservation work is facing many challenges such as,  illegal collection and habitat destruction.

 

For the conservation of orchids, education and learning is important. We hope that this website will be able to arouse public interest in orchid conservation and inspire people to respect these precious plants.
